Family vacation in southern california? Our family is driving to Anaheim from Texas next month to visit Disneyland once again (just there 6 months ago!). On our last visit, we headed to Legoland, San Diego on the way back home and that was a FLOP! Fortunately we did enjoy the beach which made up for Legoland. Our children are 2,4,and 6yrs and we know that Universal studios and Knott's are out of the question because the kids are too young. California family law? I am getting married in Kauai, Hi in July. We will be gone for 2 weeks and my son will miss one week of school. He is in a year round school while everyone else is on summer vacation. His dad refuses to let him go because he will miss school. I have been offered a job in Wisconsin that promises to be a career starter and will allow me to come back to California after 9 months of training. My son is in Kindergarten right now and it would me he would have to change schools mid-year. Is this a bad thing to move him mid year and should I not take the job because how it might affect him? He is very social and intellegent and I don't foresee any issues adjusting, and we would be able to come back to where we currently live after the summer vacation as I will be able to telecommute with the new job. Do I go in debt to take my family on vacation? My parents have rented condos on the beach in California in Sept. for all of the family. My family was planning on going and had saved up the money to go. A few weeks a go a little neighbor girl fell in my backyard and jammed 3 teeth up into her gums. Is there any way to do this without being tacky? I know some of you guys are going to be haters on this subject, but I am getting married May 31, 2008. This is both our second marriage, but my first marriage was when I was 19 and lasted a couple months (did not have a wedding) and his first marriage lasted 7 years and she cheated on him twice. We are going to be buying a house around February of that year as well, so we are having o save up for both. According to my employer (I work for a College District - so it's a state job) I can use my vacation and sick leave...we get 12 days of sick leave at the start of the fiscal year, and then we get 88 days of 1/2 pay or 88 1/2 day paid sick leaves...if that makes any sense...and according to my union rep I can use all those days.

Will I be able to travel to Tennessee from California with just a paper drivers license? I just got my California drivers license and I am travelling to Tennessee to see my family for vacation. I didnt know it took 2-4 weeks to receieve your actual license. I have a paper license without my picture on it and the dmv says its just as good as your regular license. I dont have any other form of photo id and i leave this monday- im afraid without a photo id they wont let me travel. HELP! My family is staying @ a hotel that doesn't allow dogs and we have our dog with us!? Ok so my whole entire family is at a hotel on our yearly vacation in California. My family chose to take the dog with us though i disagreed. She's a good dog. She's small, she never barks, and she's cool with being in the kennel (we brought it with us) for most of the day. Also, the hotel is not your normal hotel. Its not all one building with a lobby i have to walk past eevery timei take the dog potty. That would be EASY! The hotel rooms are like condos. there's lots of grass and space to take her. Here's the problem, the hotel ddoesn'tallow dogs and i just took her out to go potty. I had to put a towel over her and walk to a big amount of grass near the pool. There's so many people that its hard hiding her.
