Vacation to California starting close to San Jose to San Diego? Hi i am traveling to California. I want to start probably around San Jose because that is the cheapest place to fly into. Only thing is i dont know what to see. Any suggestions? Also any nice cheapish places to stay in? i also want to travel down to San Diego by car or train if its cheap. So i plan on making stops at Hearst castle and any other suggestions people might have. Vacation in Hawaii or California? I am looking to go on vacation in either Hawaii or California this summer but don't know much of anything about either. I have done some research but I have just gotten overwhelmed. I really don't want to spend alot of money but everything I look at is soo expensive. Universal Studios, Florida or California? Which one is better for a family vacation? Also, which one is cheaper. Best way for taxes to pay on a house? I have a job that travels aot. I currently rent a very small "cheap" place in California. I want to take advantage of the market and buy a house so that I can also use it as a tax break. The one I like is 20 acres on the river that has a house on it back home in Kentucky. Can water affect the health of your hair? If so, what can I do to improve it? I live in northern California, the water is “hard” as they say. So my hair is usally flat, dull and lifeless. No volume at all, I even tried all the shampoo’s, expensive, cheap, weightless, etc. I just went on vacation to Las Vegas last weekend, and oh my gosh, my hair was so bouncy and full of volume it was crazy. It felt like I had went to an expensive salon. When I got home it back to the same old hair :(

Recommended Vacation Spots for March 2008? I have a week in March 2008, (7th-16th) where I can take off and go on vacation. I live in NJ, 20 minutes outside NYC. Where would be a good place I could go to for that week that , 1) I can drive to, or take a CHEAP flight to 2) will be on the warmer side considering the time of year 3) will not be congested by Spring Break people 4) is safe I will be going alone, and I'm a young woman. Nick: He is a young man who works at a department store called Shopko and the only rewards he gets is working little hours and, a roof over his head at his parents's duplex and a cheap bicycle to get to and from work, plus his boss is an egotistical jerk who treats Nick like crap and is refusing to give him the hours he deserves and Nick only makes $8.15 an hour, plus Nick's boss fired an elderly woman cause she couldn't perform the duties that he wanted her to, plus Nick hates his job and his parents don't want Nick to quit his job Both Nick and Jamie have been at their jobs for 7 years and Jamie is her own supervisor, Nick wishes that he can find another job to where the managers should treat him with the respect that he deserves and Nick absolutely hates his pig of a manager and the manager doesn't appreciate Nick's hard work and it angers me that Jamie can't share her rewards with Nick cause I think that Nick should be working for Jamie instead of his pig of a manager at his job cause Jamie would treat him alot better. Nick and Jamie are acquaintences who knew each other from high school. Sadly Nick has a learning disability and he has a bit of a short term memory but he is intelligent in many areas and he isn't able to do well in college cause of his learning disability, however the only reason why Jamie is so successful in life is cause her parents own part of the company and they've paid for her college expensives and Nick on the other hand he has gotten his job all on his own.

My step mom and my dad are being stupid and I wanna prove them wrong? ok so my dad married this fat chick for the money. shes an RN. so ever since they got married (i wasnt invited or even aware that they were married for a year until just a month ago) theyve been going to all these places like mexico and vegas and california about twice a year. well when im with my dad for summer vacation, he wont let me play softball. i would understand not being allowed to go to tournaments if we were going somewhere nice but all we do is camp for a day and then we stay home. we were going to olive garden last night and we were sitting in the car while my step mom was talking about them staying in the beverly hills waverly hotel and seeing danny divito and eddy murphy. my dad is very cheap and i was shocked to find out that they ate dinner and spent 400 dollars. so i made the mistake of asking 'why cant we spend that much money on a family trip?' well there are 3 kids and 2 adults so yes it might be pricey. But with as many trips as they’ve taken, and then they say that they cant afford to take us anywhere, its been making me really mad lately. So while we were in the car, my dad was like well why don’t you set up a vacation. Ill give you a budget of 1000 dollars (he didn’t give me a 1000 dollars, he was just speaking hypothetically.) and you have to plan out car rental, air fare, hotels, and scheduling with that money. Which one do you like best: Disneyland, Sea World or Universal Studios in California? My husband and I are thiking about going on a vacation early next year and we are already starting to plan (this is our first trip together and the first for him out of state). I have been to Disneyland long ago and I really enjoyed it and I think I want to go again and my husband has never been there. What other things are there to do in California we are open for suggestions, we plan on staying there for a week. Do you recommend going to San Diego Zoo?
