Looking for Perfect Romantic Vacation for December Anniversary!!!? I want to plan a great, romantic (and hopefully, but not required cheap) vacation for my one year anniversary to my husband. I would like to surprise him with the trip destination. For our honeymoon, we went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for about a week. We have also visited Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and California since getting married. We are not opposed to going out of the country as we both will have passports soon. We love all climates, the beach and mountains. We like water rafting, swimming, etc.My husband does not snorkel or dive, but that can be an activity that is available. We have never been on a cruise or to an all-inclusive resort (either together or separate), but are not opposed to those either. Any suggestions on destinations, hotels, activities, etc. would be appreciated! I would like to keep the accommodations, travel expenses, etc. under $4000 (excluding food, activities, and spending money) because we will be traveling close to Christmas time. THANK YOU!!!! A nice vacation spot? I am from the Central Valley of California, and I am looking for a Nice Vacation Spot nearby where I can enjoy romantic scenery, and be close to hidden water spots. My idea is to go to a romantic place to stay for a few days, and be able to sneak off to a secluded water spot and be able to get naked if i wanted to, of coarse I am going with my mate. I am actually not really worried about it being so secluded, but i know my mate would want it more secluded. Any ideas?
How is Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick still in office? Strippers at the the official residence of the mayor—the city-owned Manoogian Mansion, the city paid for a lease for a Lincon Navigator for Kwame's family, used $8,600 from his secret Kilpatrick Civic Fund to take his wife, three sons and babysitter on a week long vacation to a five-star California resort, the La Costa Resort and Spa while the funds were for education and economic improvement, Kilpatrick was sued by two ex-members of his bodyguard staff for fireing them for whislteblowing and were awarded $6.5 million in damages, Kilpatrick and his then chief of staff Christine Beatty lied about the sexual nature of their relationship and their involvement in the firing of Deputy Police Chief Gary Brown, There was also evidence that Kilpatrick and Beatty used city funds to arrange romantic getaways. Beatty resigned amid allegations that she and the mayor lied under oath about an affair. After all this, how is he not impeached or in jail? This is not rethorical.
Where should I take my boyfriend for our anniversary? I just recently bought a vacation ownership (similar to a timeshare) and want to take my boyfriend somewhere for his birthday. His birthday is awhile away (October 9). I am looking for somewhere romantic that has fun activities and entertainment. I don’t want it to be too quiet or boring of a place. I am looking for somewhere with a romantic/pretty landscape where we can sightsee but I want to take him to do fun activities too. I haven't been outside California much so I need feedback on the locations I had in mind. Here are the locations I had in mind: 1.Estes Park, Colorado 2.Steamboat Springs, Colorado 3.McCall, Idaho 4.New Orleans, Louisiana 5.West Yellowstone, Montana 6.South Shore, Nevada 7.Depoe Bay, Oregon 8.Eagle Crest, Oregon 9.Gleneden, Oregon 10.Running Y, Oregon 11.Seaside, Oregon 12.Bear Lake, Utah 13.Midway, Utah 14.St. George, Utah 15.Wolf Creed, Utah 16.Birch Bay, Washington 17.The Camlin, Washington My boyfriend and I got the vacation ownership together so he will like pretty much any of the places I have listed. He isn't picky, just like me. We just want to get out, see new places and experience new things. He will be damn happy with any places I take him. And please do not suggest any locations that I didn't list. I haven't afford to just go anywhere...that is the point!
California central coast wineries? My husband and I are planning a 5 day romantic central coast vacation in end of June. We will be stopping in Solvang, pismo beach and Morro bay. We are planning to take the full day "grapeline winery picinic tour" where they will take us to 4-5 different Santa Barbara wineries as we don't want to drive. We are also planning to stop by at Lafond vineyards in San luis obispo and probably do some hiking to see waterfalls near big sur. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions for this central coast vacation. Is biking along the Foxen trail in Santa Barbara recommended? Which wine trails are better for a day trip or should we just stick to grapeline shuttle? Any good hotels or other activities on the central coast that we should not miss? Thanks!
Vacation Ideas?? 5 Year wedding Anniversary.,? My husband and I will celebrate 5 years of marriage in November. We are in the midst of deciding where to go; we definently want to stay in the States. We really don't want to repeat the places we've already been...such as Florida, Vegas, NY, Chicago, DC..We'd like to go some place that has a warm climate, romantic & fun feel. We're a young couple mid 30's... I was thinking California. I'd like to have several options though...do any of you have any other ideas where we can go in the States?
Help me decide between two places for my romantic vacation? Me and My boyfriend are going on a vacation for 1 wk in august. We have been on plenty of weekend retreats together but never for a full week, so this one is kinda special to me. He has always planned everything before but this time it is my turn. So we are down to 2 choices and I want to leave it up to the answers community to decide. Choice A A road trip from our home in seattle to yellowstone national park in WY. We would stop off a few places and stay a night or 2. Drive thru ID, MT, WY, and WA. Just the two of us. Choice B Take a train from our home in Seattle to a beach town in northern California(would be great if you could suggest 1), rent a lil cottage or stay in a hotel on the beach for a week. Please tell me if you think we should do choice A or choice B and why you think we should choose that one. If you pick choice B please let me know where a good place in northern Cali is. Thanks for the Help! You will be rewarded for GOOD answers!
Where to go during early November for a 1 week romantic vacation? Me my girlfriend's 3rd anniversary is this Early November. And currently, we don't know where to go or what to do. We live in Southern California. So far, our ideas involve: New York take a short cruise We don't want to go las vegas because she doesn't like gambling and honestly we sight see LV a couple times already. We've been to San Francisco, Santa Monica Pier. We are planning maybe new york, but maybe too expensive....what about Lake Tahoe? what to do @ Tahoe during winter? Any ideas? Actually, what about winter resorts? Places where you go in, it is like a hotel/cabin, and you have your own private spa, resort places. where you can just relax in the warmth while it is cold outside .ANyone? Thanks!
Where is a good romantic place for a mini vacation in cali? i want to take a mini-vacation somewhere in california for my boyfriend's birthday in December. My options are around morro bay/pismo or around los angeles.. I haven't lived here long so i don't know where to go. i want to stay in a hotel preferably on or right next to a beach and something that's not too expensive for the weekend. Any suggestions on nice romantic places or ideas for the weekend?
Couples on Contiki Tours? My boyfriend are talking about going on a Contiki Tour. We are looking at either a Europe tour, or one that does California, Vegas & New York. I told him maybe we shouldn't go with Contiki because I know that it's more of a singles party. I know a lot of singles go to hook up, and my impression is that they are just going to party in a different atmosphere rather than actually sightsee. He thinks that I am sounding "old" by saying this, and that we would enjoy partying some nights with people our age. I agree, but I don't want partying and horny 20-somethings ruining our vacation. Also I heard that we might not be bunked together and that we could be separated sometimes? Is this true? Anyway, let me know if you think it would be worth us looking into Contiki for a romantic vacation. We are 24.
