Will someone explain to me what the point of the travel websites are when the prices look like this:? I went to several different websites, searching the exact same dates, using Continental Airlines in all my searches as they were the cheapest of all the airlines, in most cases the exact same flight from West Palm Beach Florida to Newark NJ ...and it seems to me that these travel websites are not saving money at all. continetal.com-$128.00+$19.30=$147.30 expedia.com-$114.41 + $31.29=$150.70 orbitz.com -$127.99+ $24.30=152.29 cheaptickets-$127.99+$23.29=$151.28 travelation-$104.41 + $63.29=$170.68 cheapoair $104.41 + $62.28=$170.69 priceline - $148.05 + $30.90 =$178.00 airfare - $134.06 + $38.24=$172.30 In theory we are paying these services to negotiatelower plane ticket prices with the airline companies. Then, the charge the consumer more in fees for the discount...which saves them absolutly nothing. The purpose of business is to create value to the consumer...where's the value?
Is there any way you can save money on a rail season ticket? I read an article in the Guardian around January time that said if you bought a train season ticket in the South of England, you were then entitled to a 'Gold Card' which allowed you to save a third on subsequent season tickets. The idea being that you buy a very cheap season ticket to get the gold card, then save on the one you actually need. I looked into this: Southern trains says you are entitled to a gold card which gives a 34% discount on 'off-peak' travel, but you don't get a discount on subseqent season tickets. Is there any way at all you can save money on season tickets?
Need some advise on Rail Travel as a Uni Student...? Im planning on travelling from Lincoln Central to Norwich by train, every weekend 3 weeks in a row. I am planning on getting a young persons rail card to save a bit of money, but I would like some advise what people think is the best way to go about this, because a lot of my student loan is eaten by this travel so im eager to spend as little money as possible, and for anyone who says dont travel so often - well thats not an option for me! Travelling by coach isnt viable for me as its a long journey and i'd like to read or set my laptop up and i get travel sick on busses cars and coaches looking down lol. If anyone knows of any better discount cards, or websites to buy tickets this would also be very helpful! Thanks! xx
How can I save money on a flight from Phoenix to Europe? I am a student planning to study in Albania for a few weeks in the summer. I know there are websites that provide a comparison of prices as well as STA travel which does give supposedly discounted student prices. I am looking for additional websites as well as possible coupon deals, bargain purchase times, gimmicks...ANYTHING so that I can afford this. Thanks a ton!!!! :)
Is it me or are online discount airtravel sites a load of crap? I use them to find times and vary my travel dates but I go to the airline of choice then to actually book the flight. So far it's always been cheaper because I don't pay the website's fee (some are hidden you have to be careful). Does anyone have a site where you really save money? Obviously Mr. T doesn't travel much. Just to double check though, I ran my next three flights, differing times places and advanced notice thru you suggestion. First of all it only connects you with other sites????? Big Deal I can do that. Secondly, not one website off of bookingbuddy was cheaper than what I paid. In fact every site, no exceptions, every flight was more than going to the airline website directly because I saved all the hidden fees. Two off of bookingbuddy charged fees of $25 or more. For what? I agree there are chances to save - bulk for instance, and in one case a friend used two different airlines and saved a little money, but scheduling was much better. Otherwise I can't find any benefit by using these sites. I was hoping someone had a site with real savings, but I guess they don't exist. Again Mr T's, I proved your smartazz remark was wrong. If you had an ounce of logic you'd see bookingbuddy doesn't save me a cent. Two flights I already booked I saved 15% over any bookingbuddy site by going to the airline websites themselves. Whoopie thanks for nothing jackazz. I'm looking for real savings, there must be some even in a wh0re business like the airlines. That's why I'm asking the question. If I wanted some cheap azz response from a moron I would have emailed you directly and quickly deleted your unread response.
where should i travel for spring vacation? I know its early... but i wanted to know where a friend and i should go so we can have a good time... we dont drink so that is not an issue... he have money... not like millionaires... but we have money and we get to stay in hotels practically free b/c her dad works for the Hiltons and he gets discounts. We live in the SF, California area. Also we wanted to stay in the states! thank you and about how much money should we save and take on the trip air plane tickets, ect.
Hotel business rates, just for business travellers, or can I use it for non-business stays? Yeah, I'm frugal. I've noticed, when looking through hotel websites, that the 'corporate rate' is many times cheaper than AAA or any other discount. If I'm travelling by myself (not for business), or with my family on vacation, can I take advantage of these rates too? What would qualify someone to use these rates, and do I need to show any corporate ID (I do work for a Fortune 500 company, so I have that, but never travel on business)? I'll save whatever I can wherever I can. Thanks.
Anyone have a flight coupon, coupons, or promotional codes for Delta airlines? I am traveling from TPA to JAN from Oct. 2 thru Oct. 6. I was just wondering if anyone had any discount ideas for me to save money on my trip with my family. I've looked at all the online travel sites (expedia, travelocity, hotwire, cheap tickets, etc.) and believe it or not the cheapest flights i have found so far have come directly from Delta's website. Just looking to see if anyone knew of a coupon or code i could punch in and save some money legitimately. Thank you for your time!
Airfare discounts for military and/or just in general? Our son is coming home on a short leave (before he leaves for the Middle East) and I have been searching everywhere for a good deal on airline tickets for his travel. I have heard about discounts one can get based on being in the military, but found nothing really other than an effective stand-by status, which he cannot do this time due to time constraints. Does anyone have an awesome contact/site they can offer up for the best deal possible? It would be so greatly appreciated! I am just trying to help him save the most money, he is going to need it. Thank you =)
Advice on rail fares (uk)? I travel twice a month to visit my mother in the neighbouring county, for the weekend. I always buy on the day and use my student rail card to get a discount. Any advice for saving money?
Please help! Dollars to bring for 1 week? I am going to give as much detail about my trip as possible, because I am starting to get worried I did not save enough money. With a college class of 20 or so people, I am traveling to London for 3 days, Brussels for 3 days, and Paris for a day trip. Airfare from the US to London and back is already paid for as well as accommodations. I am a very light spender and plan on splitting meals with friends (breakfast is provided at the hotel, so I will probably take some for snacking throughout the day). I am planning on buying a few souvenirs and drinking in moderation. After doing research on the railway system, I am worried that I did not save enough money. I will need to travel one way from London to Brussels one day. And then round trip from Brussels to Paris one day. I am hoping that there will be a group discount. I just need someone to ease my mind that $700 will be enough to enjoy my 7 days in Europe (in some of the most expensive cities) :)
Backpacking Europe? I have saved a lump of cash for this trip but does anyone know of any tips to making it last. Discount cards I can get, cheap travel, all of the usual. I having been looking at the WWOOF organisations, does anyone have any experiences with this? Things to see, must do... I want to know as much as you have to tell!

RRSP in Canada, how much saving is enough? I'm single, mid 30's and make 100k to 120k a year. Everybody says "save as much as you can". Well, I've been able to save up to 70% of my paycheck. But I don't have a car, rent a bachellor, don't have TV, don't have cell phone, buy all stuff in discounts, never eat outside. I have two jobs and no time for living. By the end of year, I put all in RRSP and investments. Then gov takes a huge portion as income tax. (I heard new taxes are coming). Most people I know make half what I do and have nice cars, cells, travel a lot... So can anybody advice an actual number or %? Where can we get a nice meal in Manhattan without breaking the bank? My boyfriend and I are taking a trip to NYC in April for a few days. We're not cheapskates, but we know dining in New York can cost a pretty penny. We're planning to get the CityPass to save on admission to the museums and such, and we know that part of that is a discount to certain restaurants in the Patina Group. But that's only going to cover a couple meals at most. We're trying to find some good, inexpensive, casual restaurants where we can eat dinner without spending $100 and don't have to dress up - we're planning to travel fairly light, which means other than our outfits for The Lion King, khakis are about as dressy as we'll be packing. Our hotel is located on W. 31st Street, a couple blocks away from Park Avenue (I believe that's part of Midtown?). It doesn't include breakfast, so if anyone knows of any places in that area where we can get breakfast for cheap, that'd help too. Also lunch suggestions around Manhattan, particularly near the MET and the MoMA, etc.

The example that he cited are based on relationships, yes- whether they be a cousin or a hairdresser. However, the GREAT BIG DIFFERENCE is that when someone goes out of their way to verbally expound the degree of influence that someone has on you as well as when you tout this person as a role model or "mentor" - well now this is VERY dofferent. By doing this, you indeed are connecting yourself to this person in every way since you indicated that their beliefs were used to mentor and foster your own beliefs. When you look up to someone as a mentor or role model, you are believing in the basic principles of theirs. Obama's open statements to th ereverend being his spiritual mentor and best friend makes his beliefs as suspect as the reverend's. In addition, Obama can now denounce all he wants to but how could he be a parishioner for 17 years and listen to these types of statements if as Obama NOW states are "outrageous"? I think that we need to realy questiob Obama's truthfullness or question his judgement. In either case, the country should seriously reconsider any support for such a candidate. It is frightening that Obama's paltform really emphasizes "change" and his real agenda would seem to indicate other. We need to change our support to Senator Clinton and assure her success in November.3/17/2008 9:05:12 PMRecommend (0) Report Abuse Discussion Policy LISANROY wrote:amemended comments of dr kamal roy dt 3,17,2008LISANROY wrote:COMmENTS OF REV DR KAMAL KARNA Karuna ROY A REPUBLICAN CANIDATE AND HoPEFUL TO BE the NOMINEE OF GOP IN SCHEDULED ELECTION FOr NOV 4, 2008, IF BE HELD WITHOUT any COURT ORDER OF INJUNCTION to postpone corrpt election as PRAYED BY DR kamal k k ROY ALLEGING SKY_HIGH AND CLOUD_DARK CORRUPTIONS BY DEFENDANTS IN CIVIL ACTIONS FILED IN 20+ U S D COURT actions in 20+ different JURISDICTIONS with allegations against defendants for negligence to enforce laws not TO PUSH OUT ELECTORAL CONTESTANTS FROM WEAKER COMMUNITIES OF HAVE-nots 3/17/2008 9:04:05 PMRecommend (0) Report Abuse Discussion Policy rmorris391 wrote:well this is "midly amusing". While the Mainstream Media (MSM) has too much time on its hands, to consider a long winded campaign, the focus has shifted to non-political discourse, about intractable problems that confound american society. We have issues related to baseball players, after all, who alledgedly used illegal substances to puff up their biceps. Certainly, congress can devise a surge campaign to intervene with major league baseball, and save the poor players from the rich players. After all, the economic crisis in MLB is looming, and requires some "foreign ownership equity." This is, afterall the land of "ownership." At least that is what a young president Bush promised the american public. Roy has filed lawsuits against God, U.S. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, fast food restaurants, foreign leaders.[2], and Wikipedia [3] [4].Roy's lawsuits have addressed, among many other things, actions taken by President George W. Bush, overcharging by telecommunication companies, the appointment of Chief Justice John Roberts to the Supreme Court, and "failure of democratic societies and God's role therein."[5] In 2006 Judge Michael W. McConnell of The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit described a typical Roy complaint:Roy, a/k/a Joseph Geronimo, Jr. filed a 115-page complaint, a 144-page amended complaint, and a 40-page second amended complaint against over sixty defendants, including among many others President Bush, God as U.S.-based divine benefactor, several government agencies, The New York Times, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. In addition to pages of rambling discourse, the complaint contains numerous illegible handwritten remarks.[6]The Tenth Circuit went on to affirm the district court's dismissal of the complaint holding that no discernible claim was apparent from the complaint. Judge McConnell also humorously noted that the court "strongly suspect[ed] at least one defendant was not properly served."[7]Most, if not all, of Roy's complaints have been dismissed. Tell us what you think through a robust online polling tool. www.bullitics.com Full Post Posted Friday, February 15, 2008 10:11 AM Obama's Tipping Point? Not Yet. Andrew Romano New Supporter: Obama with Lewis. Photo: John Amis/AP. On Wednesday I wrote that "depending how March 4 shakes out, [the Potomac Primary] results--and the likely Obama wins in Wisconsin and Hawaii--may help determine the Democratic nominee by the ides of March." My thinking went like this: After eight (and maybe 10 straight wins), the Illinois senator will lead at that point by more than 100 pledged delegates--but it won't be enough to reach magic number (2,025) by the end of primary season in June. Looking ahead, the 400 uncommitted Democratic superdelegates--the only people with the power to put either Clinton or Obama over the top--will have a choice: 1) prolong the contest through the convention, ensuring a messy, divisive battle involving Florida, Michigan and back room wheeling and dealing or 2) move en masse to the "people's choice" and get busy uniting the party for November. But is Obama's tipping point coming sooner than even I expected? Yesterday afternoon, the New York Times (among others) reported that Rep. John Lewis, an elder statesman from the civil rights era and one of Hillary Clinton’s most prominent black supporters, is suddenly planning to cast his vote as a superdelegate for Obama in" hopes of preventing a fight at the Democratic convention." “In recent days, there is a sense of movement and a sense of spirit,” said Lewis. “Something is happening in America, and people are prepared and ready to make that great leap.” Hungry for news on a slow day, the media responded with typical breathlessness. "Floodgates could open," wrote Time's Mark Halperin, a reliable peddler of Beltway CW. "If Lewis breaks away, take whatever you thought Clinton’s chances of winning the nomination before and divide that number by as much as two — those would be the odds of her winning now." Whoa, nelly. Not so fast. Sure, Lewis's "defection" is significant--but in a limited sense. For one thing, it's not really a defection; instead, Lewis is still endorsing Clinton (for the time being) but promising to cast his superdelegate vote at the convention with his Atlanta-area district, which voted three-to-one for Obama--if it comes to that. Lewis's confusing stance symbolizes a very specific political challenge facing black elected superdelegates--and black elected superdelegates only. If Obama maintains his lead among pledged delegates, members of the Congressional Black Caucus who have endorsed Clinton will face enormous pressure to switch sides. Like Lewis, many represent districts where Obama earned 85 to 90 percent support among black voters--meaning to defy their constituents and cast a vote that lots of people would see as stealing the election from the first black president would be tantamount to political suicide. Advertisement Over the past few weeks, there's been a slow drift of superdelegate support from Clinton to Obama. Not counting Lewis, Obama has gained 12 superdelegates since Feb. 5, while Clinton has lost a net of three. But until we start seeing a greater number of pols making the leap to Obama without such political pressure, I think it's a bit early to say the floodgates have opened. It may happen; it may not. But any potential tipping point is still a ways away. Featured, Barack Obama Permalink: http://www.blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/2008/02/15/obama-s-tipping-point-not-yet.aspx Sphere It! Offense Taken In this campaign, there is no room for remarks of any sort on any subject. - By Michael Kinsley Commentsscschmidt wrote: Michael Kinsley's article, "Offense Taken" is way off base. We need to change our support to Senator Clinton and assure her success in November. 3/17/2008 9:05:12 PM Recommend (0) Report Abuse Discussion Policy LISANROY wrote: amemended comments of dr kamal roy dt 3,17,2008 LISANROY wrote: COMmENTS OF REV DR KAMAL KARNA Karuna ROY A REPUBLICAN CANIDATE AND HoPEFUL TO BE the NOMINEE OF GOP IN SCHEDULED ELECTION FOr NOV 4, 2008, IF BE HELD WITHOUT any COURT ORDER OF INJUNCTION to postpone corrpt election as PRAYED BY DR kamal k k ROY ALLEGING SKY_HIGH AND CLOUD_DARK CORRUPTIONS BY DEFENDANTS IN CIVIL ACTIONS FILED IN 20+ U S D COURT actions in 20+ different JURISDICTIONS with allegations against defendants for negligence to enforce laws not TO PUSH OUT ELECTORAL CONTESTANTS FROM WEAKER COMMUNITIES OF HAVE-nots 3/17/2008 9:04:05 PM Recommend (0) Report Abuse Discussion Policy rmorris391 wrote: well this is "midly amusing". While I am generally an advocate of Kinsley, and Slate magazine, as well as, Time magazine. I must take umbrage, with the sacastic tone of this tome. It is a thinly veiled attempt to incite debate over issues, and non-issues, which may be unrelated to the national campaign. Once a new president is elected, a series of "signing agreements" can be implemented to remove my umbrages. 3/17/2008 8:54:47 PM Recommend (0) Report Abuse Discussion Policy LL22102 wrote: Man.... UPDATE, 11:51 p.m.: Searching my inbox, I noticed that the Obama campaign has announced seven superdelegate pickups since March 4. So there might be something to my "steady drip" theory. With seven weeks until Pennsylvania, a constant stream of superdelegate endorsements is a good way to create the impression of momentum--whether or not the supers in question decided to endorse today, yesterday or last month. Conversely, a sudden flood this week might've struck observers as a show of pre-March 4 support--and left them wondering whether Obama could keep attracting superdelegates after Clinton's wins in Ohio and Texas. Now it *looks like* he is. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama
When will real estate agents become extinct? Will real estate agents soon go the way of travel agents? Do you see a time coming good when everyone will be a for sale by owner by default, because commissions got so low that everyone got out of the business. That's how its getting here in Chicago. Discounters have it down so low that it absolutely isn't even worth the bother and headaches of listing. They are discounting down to $1400 a deal list wise. To me, it isn't worth getting crabby calls for 45-60 days from sellers, and all the loan and other problems, let alone showing the house constantly, for $1400 dollars. At that point, not even worth doing for side money. I wonder how many agents are saying enough already, getting sick of seeing desperate teeeming masses of new agents dropping commissions lower and lower, and getting out of the biz altogether. Once everyone FSBO's, no one will save money cause there is nothing to compare it to, and prices will find their own new level. SImilar to when gas went self-serve.

Here's a list of what Alex Jones believes in........? do you still want to line up behind him as your political Jesus? The following list is of beliefs which Alex Jones has explicitly or implicitly stated on his cable access show--sometimes many times Alex Jones has correctly predicted everything that has happened in the last 10 years. (Can you spell M-E-G-A-L-O-M-A-N-I-A? I thought you could...) Black helicopters are real. Charlie Sheen inherited his father's brains. There's a worldwide takeover going on, perceptible only to dumb white guys. The ruling elite of the world worship Moloch. (The evidence for this is a blurry video of the show at Bohemian Grove. Alex thinks the Bohemian Grove show is real.) The secret rulers of the world can live forever. (No one knows where this comes from or why Alex believes it. I think it came from a dream Alex had. As far as I know, the rulers of the world continue to die normally.) The elite have openly announced that they want to kill 80% of us. Dick Cheney writes papers saying terrorism isn't real. (Alex wouldn't say what papers. Alex Jones almost never says where he gets his "information.") The U.S. Government went around Italy blowing up school busses full of children...& admitted it. (Twirling their moustaches & going "Nya-ha-ha-ha!" Alex hears a lot of admissions no one else can hear.) The left-right political spectrum is bogus (This is the dominant paradigm of stupid people today!) There are little wires in dollar bills that keep track of what you buy. (Somehow.) Vicente Fox can morph into a green devil. (Alex says he saw him do it. Honest. This vision occurred when Fox visited Texas, c. 2003-4, & Alex bullhorned him.) The Communist Chinese Army has taken over the Massachusetts Port Authority. Illegal aliens live the Life of Reilly in the United States. (In hospital emergency rooms, they always get to go to the front of the line! They also get tax breaks, free school tuition, discounts on Twinkies, etc.! It's part of a secret plot that only Alex Jones has figured out.) Noam Chomsky is a mongoloid idiot. Also an agent. There are Illuminati symbols on Starbucks coffee cups. (The Illuminati leave clues visible only to angry white guys with IQ's in the mid-80's.) Exits on tollroads are 50 miles apart. (It's a takeover! who woulda thought?) Jacques Cousteau wanted to kill 80% of us. (Jacques, too? I wonder why he didn't live forever?) Margaret Sanger gave & received awards from Hitler. (When the Nazis weren't burning her books.) There are live AIDS viruses in the corn. (This means no sex with the corn.) 91% of Americans are Nazis. (Alex says anyone who favors gun control is a Nazi; 91% of Americans favor mandatory handgun registration; that's a lotta Nazis, Alex.) The United Nations goes around Africa, sterilizing women at random (twirling their moustaches & going "Nya-ha-ha-haa!") The Founding Fathers were stupid (they were Masons––but they didn't know about the secret conspiracy so obvious to Alex & his friends) Masons can commit murder. They make a secret sign to the judges and are immediately set free. All throughout history, governments have always been evil. (Bet you didn't know that. Like most of the Patriots, Alex is an anti-government bigot. He frequently poses as a historian, but no real historian believes what Alex Jones believes.) Power outages are government plots. Illegal immigration is a government plot. The counterculture is a government plot. Vaccines are a you-know-what. Thumbscanning is a government plot. Environmentalism is a government plot. The National Seatbelt Initiative is a bloody government plot. Feminism is a government plot. Tollroads are a gummint plot. This web page is a government plot. Your mother is a government plot. The goddam drug culture is a government plot. (Alex Buzzkill Jones.) Cell phones are a government plot. Sports are a government plot...somehow. Antidepressants are a government plot. (Better you should say "What's NOT a government plot?") All domestic terror attacks are government plots. (Pulled off by the most inompetent administration in history, fooling everyone in the world except angry white guys with IQ's in the mid-80's.) The government brings in all the drugs. (All of them! Only Alex Jones knows this. No documentation. No nothing. Just another bad dream Alex mistook for news.) Arnold Schwartzeneggar is a known Nazi. (Only Alex knows this. Someone alert the Kennedys.) Arnold Schwartzeneggar is part of an Austrian plot to take over America. (Alex really has it in for Arnie. He has a web page devoted entirely to ad hominem attacks against the ex-terminator.) Skull & Bones is part of an English plot to take over America. The United Nations is part of a (very slow) plot to take over America. ***INTERMISSION*** Adjust your tin hats. Children's cartoons are part of a government plot to brainwash us. (Alex Jones is immune. Conspiracy guys are always immune to the brainwashing they see everywhere. White-Guy egotism.) Organized religion is brainwashing us. (Doesn't Alex realize brainless people cannot brainwash?) My cable show brainwashes you. (If that were true, people would be sending me money.) The secret ruling elite of the world are putting up buildings that look like owls. (Only conspiracy people can see these owls, in case you were wondering. I wonder why they don't build pyramids with eyes on top of them.) Most major police chiefs are CIA operatives. Gloria Steinham is a CIA operative. The voting-machine companies are openly run by the CIA. ("Openly run by the CIA" sounds like an oxymoron to me.) The Quakers are communists. (Er...I thought communists were atheists. Of course, right-wing loonies have no concept of what communism is.) All of Clinton's cabinet were Jewish. (Alex is not anti-Semitic. I don't know why he said this. Another dream, I guess.) People in Holland have tattoos saying "Don't Kill Me." (A tougher country than we thought.) Lyndon Johnson had John Kennedy killed. (I guess JFK was stupid, choosing LBJ as his running mate like that. Conspiracy guys are stupid, so they think everybody is stupid.) The UN has sold thousands of children into slavery & for snuff films. Gays are actively recruiting in our schools. (Why do right-wing loonies always believe this?) The government keeps "giant, honeycombed hives full of toddlers drugged on lithium" (twirling their moustaches & going "NYA-HAHAHAHA!") The Rothschilds funded Hitler. (Once again, normally smart people become staggeringly stupid in Alex's dreams.) People in Africa tear off their arms after receiving vaccinations. (But then, we've all done that.) The government is spraying us with EVIL CHEMICALS contained in the contrails of planes (also poisoning themselves, I guess. Shows you how ruthless the elite are.) The United Nations goes around Africa, sterilizing women at random (twirling their moustaches & saying "Nya-ha-ha-haa!") Every soldier who died in any war since the Civil War was a chump (you thought they were heroes; turns out they were nothing but fools; how's THAT for patriotism?) Antidepressants are a government plot to bum us out. The United Nations is part of a (very slow) plot to take over America. Mercury travels from Africa to Austin on the Jet Stream. That's why Austinites have so many allergies. IQ's are going down. (IQ's are going up.) The cancer rate is up. (Most cancer rates are down.) During his inauguration, President Clinton openly gave the sign of Satan for all the world to see. (They all worship Moloch, don't forget. I don't know how we get to Satan from there...but Alex says so.) Alex Jones is saving humankind with his cable TV show, radio shows, & tapes (available for purchase, by the way). Bad people are deliberately putting cancer viruses, AIDS viruses, & mercury in our vaccines (twirling their moustaches & going "Nya-hahaha!"). 9-11 was only the beginning; there are going to be lots of even bigger domestic attacks (5 years & waiting on this prediction, Alex). Most Americans believe the government was behind 9-11 (this is based on Alex's misreading of a Zogby poll; Alex misreads EVERYTHING) They sacrifice babies at Bohemian Grove. (Try to imagine Richard Nixon sacrificing a baby. Or GWB. I guess Cheney would do it, perhaps inadvertently.) They only hire people with IQ's below 100 to become police officers. (Like most "Patriots," Alex Jones is essentially a cop-hater. He will say anything bad about the police.) & finally...my personal favorite: Alex Jones can predict the future, because he goes to the SECRET WEBSITES where the New World Order tells you EVERYTHING IT'S GOING TO DO Lucky- He is a guy who started out simply enough in Austin, Texas with a local show basically talking sh!t about the "man" and the "system" your typical stuff, but then he saw an oportunity to exploit 9/11 to get some real publicity and he took it.
Traveling on Amtrak? I am going from Eugene, OR to North Dakota and I was wondering if anyone had any suggesstions on how to save money. Best days to travel? Discount codes? ect...
where is a good honeymoon spot? we want something that is on the cheaper side. we aren't going right away so even if it is more money then we will have time to save. do you know any good travel places or discount trips that are offered? we want something on the warmer side but we have also talked about going to Japan and if I could get it cheap enough I would like to surprise him with something like that. thanks. he's never been outside the US actually not really been outside of Illinois/Missouri much and I've only been around the states and canada and once to the bahama's. so something that is fun with lots to do.

Cheaper options for getting around SE England by rail? My husband and I are planning a trip to England this summer and we are looking into taking some excursion trips from London to Stratford Upon Avon and Bath. I've been pricing the rail trips for this on National Rail and in comparison to what we pay for train service in the Netherlands the prices are insane. Is there a discount card or four day pass or some other value option that insiders know about that could save us travel costs on our trip?
trains , Netherlands , pass? i'ev been searching the net for the past few days ,, what i'm looking for is a transport pass between cities , which will allow me to get a discount or some kinda deal , all i found is eurail , which offers 5 days for 82 euros , which means i'll be only saving about 10 euros ,, and they wrote that i have to be on my 1st day of travel , does that mean i can only purchase it once ? and are there any other cards or offers that can help me , baring in mind that i'm going to study there for a summer course , so can i get a student pass or somthing , i'm staying there for 37 days if that helps ,,
Where can I find restaurant discounts? I'm looking for discounts, coupons or whatever for restaurants (any) that can be used all over the US. I plan to do some travelling this summer and don't know where I'll end up eating, but I need to save money if possible. Thanks!
round the world trip budget/ spending money advice pls.? My husband and i are in the process of saving up for a round the world backpacking trip (hopefully to start next March). we plan to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, (about 4 months in total) then Australia for 6 months, 1 month in New Zealand the a couple of weeks in Fiji then 2 weeks in North America. Discounting flights, visas and equipment, how much do you think we ought to budget for spending money for the year - to include travel (busses etc), the odd trip, accommodation, food ie general living costs? we are not heavy drinkers or clubbers, and we dont mind staying in basic accomodation. we are also looking to work in Australia for about 4 -5 months and also doing a bit of WWOOFing (working on organinc farms for board and lodge) can anyone give me a rough idea of how much money we should take between us for 12 months? in UK pounds sterling if poss also do you have any idea how much vaccinations will cost us (each)? i dont think many, if any, are given free on the NHS dont be silly! of course you can travel to Laos and Cambodia and it is vary safe to do so! many gap year travellers go to these countries. Its mayanmar (Burma) you have to be careful with
Is travel to Europe in late February worth it? I'm looking to utilize some air miles I have earned and noticed that if I travel to Europe in late February I can get a discount. I would be traveling to London, Dublin, and Amsterdam. I'll be able to save 30-40% of my miles if I do the trip within that time frame, which would allow enough miles for another trip in the future -- but at the same I don't want to make the trip if the weather is terrible and makes it less enjoyable to do activites while out there. Thanks in advance!

Do you have any idea how badly Rice and Bush screwed up US influence in Russia and Central Asia and the result of that?? We lost a key ally on the Pakistani/Afghani front, China has steeped in to form a new alliance with Russia and what little pro-western support we had is gone, all in part thanks to the ousted Akayev. We don't know all the details behind the Rich story- so to assume Clinton's donation is quid pro quo is an unfounded allegation on your part. We do know Bush and his friends have undermined geo-political relations throughout the world, while personally profiting by that de-stabilization. Bill Clinton's library will be in remembrance of a great period in World History. While George Bush's will not only be a blood monument to his destruction and ignorance of that great era, but will apparently be built with the very hands and money that did it. 7/16/2008 12:24:32 PM Recommend (2) Report Abuse Discussion Policy jhoward343 wrote: I wonder if they will put a statue of Bush in a flight suit (with helemt under arm) standing in front of a sign that says "Mission Accomplished" in front of the library building. 7/16/2008 12:23:03 PM Recommend (2) Report Abuse Discussion Policy Issa1 wrote: jhoward343 wrote: It's people like 19481 that put Bush in the White House twice.
