June vacations? Looking for a non US and European June vacation - any recommendations?

I want to go on vacation in late-june. I am trying to avoid the US and Europe. It seems that it is Monsoon season in SE Asian. Winter in South America and Africa and rainy season in central america. I am looking for a relaxing vacation. Some beach and some adventure. Would love some ideas and recommendations.

1. I would recommend Istanbul, Turkey.

It is like going to East and West at the same time.

If you want nice beaches, I can also recommend Bodrum or Antalya.

2. Vancouver (or Victoria), British Columbia.
The summer months are absolutely the best time to go to both places! If you choose Victoria--find a place to rent a bicycle and see the city that way.
It's gorgeous.
