1. Yes but you should know that getting your visa is going to be a royal pain in the ass and might take 2 years or more. The U.S. has really cracked down on handing out visa's in recent years.

And being married does NOT guarantee a visa anymore.

2. Hmmm, really interesting! yummy

3. No. You file for the K visa only if he is in the U.S. and you are in the U.K. The K visa is a fiance visa - you can't get it if you are already married.

You could get married while on vacation, but I would not advise it. If you have any documents on you or indicate that you are entering the U.S. for the purpose of getting married while on vacation & you don't have a valid visa you may be turned back. These immigration people are very fickle. I am a U.S. citizen married to a U.K. man, and he still has a hard time coming into the country. If you do manage to enter the country and get married, you could just file for a green card and adjustment of status.

If you stay in the U.K., then your fiance can apply for the K visa. Once you have the visa, you would have no problem coming to the U.S. and getting married.

For New Jersey, I think all you need is a picture ID and proof that one of you is a resident of NJ.
