Texting from USA - Bell Cell Phone?

Am going to USA for vacation...can my daughter text while in South Carolina to her friends in Canada via her Bell cell? And what costs should I expect...we have the unlimited text plan which I pay $10/month...thanks in advance.

1. It should still be the same , because you are on the same continent... international fares only apply when going into another country. And yes she can text her friends , I text people in Europe all the time and i live in the USA.

2. International txt rates will apply. Check with Bell Cell's customer service. Also, you will have to activate international roaming on the phone you're taking with you. International Roaming activation should be free.

3. kaleigh incase you dint know canada is another country, therefore international rates will apply.
back to the question, your daughter should be able to text while in the usa but just make sure her Bell Cell is able to roam in the area you are going sometimes only cause its a big city does not mean it will work. and roaming and internation text charges will apply i am sure just like here those unlimited plans only work unlimited in the country you are from.
