1. Maybe because they have themoney to go further afield.

2. Well, probably because they can afford to travel to other countries, which most people would like to expirience in their lifetimes, but don't have the funds to do it.

3. I do not think that is true. Many of the rich go to Aspen Colorado for skiing trip. To Las Vegas for gambling and entertainment. I know plenty that go to New york City. California. Florida. I live in SC and we Vanna White and her brother are from Myrtle Beach, SC. We get the very rich visiting up here all the time. One of Anna Nichole Smith's male friends was from here and she visited her. In the golfers world, Augusta is very famous and almost every state in the nation has a least one place even the rich like to go.

Most of the time we do not even know they are there. We have movies made in out city and many stars and famous people here in different parts of the state, especially Myrtle Beach, Charleston SC and the a number of Presidents have been to Hilton Head Island, SC
