Last minute travel plans for philippines?

I got a last minute air ticket to Philippines - arrive Fri 22 dec at Clark, depart fri 29 from Clark. Any suggestions for where to go and stay? I'd like a couple of days in Manilla, maybe visit Taal for one day, but I'd love to go to Boracay or another island where I can snorkel or dive for a few days. Is it possible in the time on a limited budget? Any other nice beaches for snorkelling nearer Manilla? If I go to Boracay is it better to fly or go by ferry? Can I book tickets at the airport when I arrive? Any good budget hotels you'd recommend?

1. Sounds like you have quite a plan. Sit down and make an intenerary. Boracay is the best beach in the Philippines. Cebu is also suppose to be nice. You'll probably have to fly.

Contact a travel agent for the best deals.

2. Try Cebu. You have to take a plane. or else see clubparadisepalawan.com

3. So you will be arriving at Clark. They have flights there direct to Boracay. Check it out at Clark Airport. Batangas also offers beautiful beaches and Puerto Gallera.

4. how come u only have 7 days, that's too short for a vacation.. if u want to go to Boracay, it's better u take a plane and get a package deal wherein the hotel and airfare is included, it's a minimum of 3 days and 2 nights, but i'll tell u now, when u get there u will surely love it and would like to extend another day or 2. u can visit this website for more details.. enjoy!!

5. If your staying overnight in Angeles City after arriving at Clark I would recommend staying at the Clarkton Hotel. The room rates are cheap, and they have a nice breakfast buffet in the mornings. They very near the Clark so very convenient to catch your flight to Boracay.

6. from Clark, you can take a flight going to Cebu stay for overnight then ferry going to Bohol for great whitesand beach and great nature tourist sport. then flyback from Bohol to Manila. Stay in Malate area then the following day you can have a tagaytay city tour in which you can see Taal or trek to Taal. for further assistance on your tour arrangement, pls email at lindaltan@yahoo.com. You have very short time in planning your trip and on a peak season period.

7. this is not a last minute travel as you still have a couple of months to prep. check www.wowphilippines.com for all your options.

8. You can get to Boracay directly from Clark using SEAir or some other budget airline. It may even be cheaper than from Manila Domestic Airport. Just a side note, skip Manila unless you have someplace really important to go and see there, the airport in Manila is not one of those places. Moving around Manila is akin to Indiana Jones navigating a pit of snakes. I would just base myself at Clark/Angeles City for simplicity's sake. An hour hour from Clark is Subic Bay, which has a large expat community, small nice beaches and a very naturalistic environment for an urban setting. You can also fly to Tagbilaran or Cebu City to see even more superb beaches, again all from Clark.

9. I have a fully furnished condo unit in Ortigas Center, 5-10 minutes walk to SM Megamall (Drop-off point of shuttle from Clark) /Galleria/The Podium/Galleria, it's available on dec 27 & 28. My email is rafaelukas@yahoo.com and cel# (63)9278012839
