Any cheap tricks to get to another continent for a few days?

And i dont mean use a raft. That idea wouldnt work anyway b/c iam on the eaast coast. I have never traveled before and would really like to go anywhere off this continant for a few days in hopes that one day i will move to someplace different. Sweden, ireland, Iceland, anywhere. Does anyone know of any secret airlines, specials, or places a school student can aquire a plane ticket or go on a plane with a group for a discount?
