1. Being Canadian myself, I name off Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Ottawa happens to be the nation's capital and where the federal government legalized same-sex marriage. Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal respectively have the three biggest GLBT neighbourhoods. In Toronto, Church St. and Wellesley Street (or Church and Wellesley as it's commonly known) is the gaybourhood. In Montreal, it's centred around St. Catherine Street and is called both Le Village Gai or The Village, depending on whether you speak English or French . In Vancouver, it's Davie Village in the West End. Osborne Village, 17th Avenue SW, Jasper Avenue and Bank Street are where the gaybourhoods are located in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa respectively.
