Single Travel?

I need to take a vacation soon and looked into travel sites, most base prices on double occupency, when I fill in single or travel alone, the price is the same as if paying for two people. Does anyone know of a service for singe people and maybe suggest places to visit. I've got about $1,000 to $1,800 to spend and I'm in San Antonio now, would love to get out of the Republic of Texas for a week and see other countries.

The underground site I go through has travel packages SPECIFICALLY for singles travel.

On the site I gave you below, mouse over the VACATIONS tab and click on the 'SINGLES TRAVEL' option. Now's a nice time to get away also.
