I'm dating but not in a "serious" relationship, I want to travel but I'll be alone.?

Has anyone traveled alone? I've been checking out these websites for singles travel. I want to see the world! Has anyone traveled with one of these "single travel sites?"

1. I have travelled alone a few times. I am divorced and many of my friends are married or in a relationship and don`t have permission to go with me so I go on my own sometimes but have a great time still. I always meet new friends and people to do things with in the Caribbean. Last year I went to St.Marten and took my advanced Scuba diving course that kept me busy as well, I have not tried websites for single travel but maybe it`s a good idea .You might have to share a room with someone you don`t like that's the gamble you might take. But most people are happy and in a good mood on vacation so it would probably work out fine.

2. I've never done one of the single travel sites, but you should definitely go! I've travelled alone and it's so great! It's very scary at first but it's so liberating. You'll have a great time and really get to know yourself and what you're capable of. Go for it and have fun!

3. I traveled on my own in most of my holidays but normally I don't go with a tour operator.I mean,I just buy the ticket and sometimes book a hotel or I ask for a room directly once on the spot.Of course I'm talking about those trips to a city or a place to visit.I don't think it would be fun going by the seaside alone.
