I'm dating but not in a "serious" relationship, I want to travel but I'll be alone.?

Has anyone traveled alone? I've been checking out these websites for singles travel. I want to see the world! Has anyone traveled with one of these "single travel sites?"

1. I'd done a lot of traveling but never alone. I mean I'd be solo leaving my place but when I get to my destination (e.g., Rio de Janeiro or Paris), friends would be waiting for me there. I've met a lot of adult women traveling alone and they pretty much say the same thing: "Only the first time is hard because you're venturing into the unknown....but it becomes easy after that, regardless of destination - like the level of confidence has increased 10 times over."
If this is your first time to travel, I'd like to suggest joining a tour group - it's cheaper and at least you're in the company of people who share like-interests. When you've become experienced, you want to wing your way solo. Traveling is addicting....but it's a very wonderful vice. lol Be safe!
