Travel for a single woman?
I desperately want to take a nice vacation this fall. Nothing extravegant, I'd just like to get out and do something. The problem is that I've lost all my travelling buddies. I'm single, so there's no chance of a romantic getaway, my go-to-girl for spontaneous travel is in Fiji until next year, and all of my other close friends either can't get time off, are married, or have already taken their vacations. Any bright ideas? I'm looking for something in the US. I live on the east coast and don't mind travelling, but I'm not looking to break the bank.

1. Lake Keuka in the Finger Lakes Region of New York is an exceptional vacation that is relatively inexpensive. I was there last October over the Columbus Day weekend and it was absolutely lovely! The weather was warm without the humidity. There's a wonderful wine trail you can take that leads you to some beautiful scenery plus some excellent winery tours. The Pleasant Valley Winery and the Bully Hill Winery are tops in means of tours and tasting rooms. I preferred Pleasant Valley over Bully Hill, but both have their merits. If you stay in Bath, the hotel rates are less expensive and Lake Keuka is just a couple of miles away. You can also travel a short distance to the Corning Glass museum--which you can expect to spend the entire day exploring. It's fascinating! I loved the hand blown glass seminars so much I went to 3 of them!
It's a great area and a really nice trip! If you decide to go, enjoy yourself!

I use them a lot to book single women on trips.
I am a travel agent and they have some good tours.
