where should my family and i visit this july summer vacation orlando or california?

we have children (ages 5-15)

1. dont come to orlando... disney only lasts one day and thats about all there is here.

2. I would say Orlando - there are many more parks than just Disney World - Animal Kingdon, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Epcot, Blizzard Beach, etc. And Tampa is only about and hour and a half away by car - there is Busch Gardens and Adveture Island (water park) there as well as a great zoo.

4. I have been to Orlando. Florida is only pretty on the coast. It will be pretty hot too. Nothing against Disney World, but...

California has so much more variety, from mountains to desert to vineyards to ocean.

You can do the Disney thing there as well and visit movie studios, or go north and see San Francisco.

Or Yosemite, or Sequoia National Park, or Gold Country...

Or Carmel, Pebble Beach, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, or Monterey Aquarium...gorgeous area.

Lots more to do depending on your interests.
