Public Comments

1. San Diego is perfect for families... Sea World, Zoo, Beaches, Legoland, etc.

2. monterey bay up by sanfransico or newport beach by O.C

3. go to oxnard!! its balla!

4. Lake Cachuma, Yosemite, San Diego, Disneyland, the Redwood forest, Santa Barbara, and I would say Lake Tahoe, but, It's burning down.

5. i would say the san diego zoo. i live in florida and missed out on getting there.also i wanted to swim in the pacific ocean and watch the surfers.that would be fun. also, goes without saying are seeing the giant redwood trees. the hoover dam is a cool trip if the kids are old enough to experience the awe and the story of how it was built.there is always sea world. the one in florida is awesome.i think california has one too.and disney.have fun. also, there is in florida, welcome centers and also on line you may be able to type in or google california attractions and find inexpensive and interesting places to go.

6. San Diego is a great place for a family vacation. They have such a wide choice of things to do....

Parks/Zoos: the zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Lego Land.

Water activities: fishing, surfing, boogie boarding, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming, bay cruises & more

There's lots of good places for hiking, biking, and 70 miles of beaches for beach activities. Not to mention all of the museums, theaters, sports, and concerts.

7. San Diego has so much to do. There's the Zoo, Seaworld, Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park with all the museums, Padres baseball, the beach, Mexico isn't far, the Wharf and so much more. Another place would be to go to Hearst Castle in San Simeon or take a train to Solvang, the quaint, little German town. Catalina Island is a great place to go too.

8. Well more info would help California is a big state

If you live in the South I would go to the Grand canyon ( not so far away), to Bryce Canyon (also not so far away), Zion NP.

In central Cali I would recommend Kings canyon, and Yosemite, and a drive in Death Valley but I would not camp there that time of year it is dang hot been there done that it was like sleeping in a oven....But the sky at night is crystal clear great for watching stars

Northern part I would drive the 101 up the coast go to the Redwoods then maybe crater lake.

Have a nice time….I love vacations.
