Where is a good place to go on a family vacation durring December?

My parents, my 20 year old brother and I are planning to go on vacation durring the middle of December. We currently live in California and are looking to vacation in another country. No to Costa Rica and we are looking for somewhere that will have decent weather durring this time. Culture, adventures, and site seeing. Thanks!!

6. a great place to travel is New Zealand...their seasons are opposite of ours so it would be summer there when it's winter here....if you do go try and see both the north and south island...my recommendations for cities to visit would be bay of islands, auckland, and then queenstown those are the most fun cities...try the bungee jumping in queentowns its safe and an awesome experience...and walk on the glacier in franz joseph it's the most spectacular site i've seen in my life...good luck on your choice...

7. I woud recommend Jamaica has it has a lot of outdoor activities and the fact that there is something to do every single day. The country is also rich in culture and the people are warm and friendly. You may want to stay on the north coast, either in negril, montego bay or ocho rios. You wont regret the trip.

8. Thailand, nature trekking in nothern Thailand and hill tribe visits. Plus great mountain resorts and renowned Thai food.

9. See Brazil, everyone should visit Rio once in their life. But very warm all the time. Sugarloaf mountain, the Corcovado, churrascarias, the best meat in the world. Or just stay in America and visit Maui. Forget the Caribbean, the Jamaicans spit in your drinks.
