1. Yes, you must have a passport when traveling to Mexico. If you are traveling by car you will be checked at a border crossing. If by plane, in airport customs. If it is the end of the month it will be more crowded in general for crossing and checking time.

2. The passports are required whether or not you are beginning your trip from Mexico City and going to Tijuana to go to California.

3. DEFINITELY THE PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED AT IMMIGRATION. EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU ENTER THE U.S.A. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW YOUR PASSPORTS.

4. WOW!!!! 3 WRONG answers in a row!!! NO NO <NO, you do not need passport to travel to and from Mexico by LAND....not until Jan. 2008 at the earliest. You currently need passports ( or proof of application) to travel to Mexico by AIR. See website below to read the WHTI ( passport law) for yourself for your own peace of mind. Passports will be needed for all forms of travel to and from Mexico afer the beginning of next year and are currently taking over 4 months to get. See 2nd website for passport info when you are ready to apply.

5. I THINK YOU NEED A PASSPORT NOT A VISA

6. Yes, you need a passport.
