I am getting married on Sept 23 we want to go to Alaska. There are no cruises available Any sagest ions?

2. I search high and low and could only find a date of departure the day before you get married. I think the weather gets too dangerous to sail that is why they don't sail again until May.

You could postpone your honeymoon if your really have your heart set on Alaska or you could go there and spend some time in a nice cabin and get cozy. :D

3. Since September is the last month for the cruise season to Alaska, it is kind of hard to find the dates you want. It looks like Princess' last cruise out for September is the 18. So if you are really wanting to cruise there, I think that the only thing you could do is cruise before your wedding. It may not be the ideal situation, but it may be your only option. Is your wedding date set in stone? Perhaps you could move it to August and then cruise the beginning of September. Maybe you could take your honeymoon when the cruise season starts back up in April next year??

Other than that you could try going to Alaska without a cruise and doing everything on your own. But if you aren't familiar with the area, you may prefer going by cruise.

Other than this you could try to find another destination to cruise to. Alaska is a beautiful state and my favorite place to cruise to, it's amazing.

5. If you can't find a good Alaska cruise, try Windjammer Barefoot cruises. They are an awesome honeymoon cruise line.

6. There is one last cruise that departs on Sept 23. It is with Holland America on the Zuiderdam, one of Holland Americas newer ships. I have a cruise fare for that sailing starting at $999 per person, a room with a window and unobstructed view for about $1300.

There might still be some alaskan land tour companies operating at that time.
