Best vacation spot for first vacation?
What's the best place to take a person on their first vacation? Somewhere hot in April. Would it be a trip where you travel and have adventures and maybe backpack or would it be more fun for them in a relaxing all inclusive hot spot with all touristy activities available on site? Or maybe even a cruise? What country and city would this place be in?

1. HAWAII!
2. Santorini, Greece!
3. boracay is perfect
4. My all time favorite vacation was on an island called Contadora in the country Panama. Very remote and relaxing! BEAUTIFUL beaches! Crystal clear waters.
5. I would vote for a relaxing spot maybe a beach or someplace silly like Disneyworld. My in laws had never been outside our state (PA) so at the ripe age of 66 we took them to DW and they had a great time! a little relaxing at the pool and to the park....it was nice.
Although I love the hiking idea, might not be best for a first timer.
Peace.
6. Florida Keys- the opportunities for things to do at all $$ levels are vast.
You can stay put or travel and see a variety of neat things !
7. There are several aspects to this question that need further definition. Are you looking for adventure or peace & quiet? Are you going international or domestic? What is your budget?
Domestic vacations usually will cost less than international ones unless you get an awesome deal that is all-inclusive.
If you go domestic and want adventure, that's easy. Look at Orlando, New Orleans, Miami, San Diego, or any place that throws the ads at you for fun and excitement.
However, if you want peace & quiet or to take it easy, look at Charleston (SC), San Antonio, or an intimate secluded island like St. George Island (FL). These places have attractions, but the atmosphere is not all out entertainment down your throat.
Similarly if you want excitement and entertainment internationally, look for all-inclusive packages to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and the like.
But if you want peace & quiet internationally, you should research Roatan (Honduras), Greece, or Sorrento / Capri (Italy). These places offer a more relaxed approach to entertainment.
BOTTOME LINE: It's all about what you want and how much you are willing to spend to get it.
8. A lot depends on what you like. I have read one of your other questions that says you are from Canada. If you have to time and money and are out for a wild time get yourself to Ibiza or Majorca. There is nothing in North America that comes close. Cancun in Mexico is tame by comparison and has way too many restrictions. You may have to get there via the UK but its worth it if you want sun, sea, sex and PARTY!!!!!!!!!
Dont worry about the language. Just about every bar on the south coast of Spain and on these islands is owned or run by a Brit and once the Brits who outnumber the locals by about 10 to 1 hear your accent you will make friends for life and your drinks will be bought all night. As i said before, dont compare this to anything in North America. The best time to go is in the summer when the worlds best DJs go to the worlds best clubs but expect a lawless, drunken riot of a holiday for your entire stay.
