I am looking for a university aged travel group that is open to Canadian students as well?

I am a 20-something Canadian university student and I am interested in environmental science including agriculture etc. I am looking for a group to join to go over seas and address these types of issues. Volunteering is perfectly fine with me! Also I should mention I am not religious, therefore I am not interested in missions...any other suggestions, however, would be appreciated!
