I am going to Italy alone and want to go to naples but is it safe for a woman traveler?

1. Sure, why not? Naples is a lovely city.

2. Like any city in the world, there are places no one should to alone, but women are at no particular risk at virtually all the places you would want to see: Vesivus, Hurculaneum, Capidimonte, Capri, National Museum, lots of other places. Send me an e-mail if you'd like recommendations.

3. i went by myself, it is partly true what you hear that it is a bit dangerous, especially around the train station. it is not a very nice city, but obviously the best base to visit pompei..
