1. kingston maybe
2. Don't go alone...I went once on a modeling gig. No joke, it can be quite dangerous if you don't know the ropes. Everyone uses their own car as a taxi and they hang out at the airport waiting for unsuspecting folks so that they can put your luggage in their car and take off without you.
3. Stay as close as you can to your resort, attend the hotels bar etc. If you want to tour around make sure you go with a tour guide and group, Find a vacation bud to go with you.
Once you get out of main tourist areas, it can be very un-safe like most foreign countries. But its easy to have lots of fun because most Jamaicans are very loving people
4. try this website for info

5. Montego Bay is the spot, don't listen to rum our from any body some of them never been to Jamaica, be the judge for your self, Try Jamaica you will love it I tried it and I love it.
6. That's great you want to go to Jamaica but make sure you don't go wondering or sightseeing alone. Stay at the resort and with groups, it can be a little unsafe. go to this website http://www.LouMarTravel.com and click on singles travel under the vacations tab
7. As a single jamaican female take precautions like you would anywhere else. Mobay is nice because you will find other single tourist to hang out with easily and you can party on the hip strip, Negril is nice if you want something more laid back and Kingston is nice if you stay in the New Kingston area, but it is not as tourist oriented and maybe better if you know someone or you are travelling with other people.
8. Try these darling.

9. for alot of single women wanting to visit the Caribbean, they imagine fun to be alot of weed and rum, and a big black penis. If that is what you're looking for, and then you get hurt, don't go saying Jamaica is a horrible place etc. If you are careless anywhere in the world, things will happen to you. I'm not saying that would ever be your fault (far from it :). If you have a carefree attitude and those stereotypical expectations, you're probably gonna get screwed.
As for taxis, use cars that have red license plates. Cars with blue and green plates are not licensed operators. You're also probably better off calling a taxi company. There are scores of numbers in the local directory, and the fees are way cheaper than what you would get in the US.
If you're looking for good old fashioned fun, check Montego Bay, Negril, or Kingston (uptown :)
10. I would not go there alone....yes, it is very beautiful and most of the people are very friendly, but when we went in May, we heard time and time again...don't leave your resort. But, you would be ok if you stayed at a well-known resort and just didn't leave, they have so much to do at the resorts you really don't even need to leave. Sandals in Ocho Rios is nice and Couples. Do your research and if you have never been then go with a friend first time around. It's just like the US, there are certain places you just don't go, especially by yourself. Better to be safe than sorry......I also know that Kingston has a very high crime rate
11. Montego Bay Jamaica
12. I would stay at The Cliffs in Negril.........stunning!
There's lots of people walking bar to bar over there, chillin out, enjoying the vibe.........
