Pregnant and cruises?

Would you go on a cruise while pregnant? My hubby and I are trying to conveive and we are going on a cruise Sept. 5th- 8th ...just a short 3 day Bahama's cruise...I've been on many cruises and have seen lots of pregnant women on the ship. The cruise line (Royal Caribbean) has a policy that if you are going into your 27th week they prefer that you do not go but cannot really stop you. If I am pregnant now (will find out in about 2 weeks, I refuse to test until I'm late) I will be almost 26 weeks at that time...Would you go? For those of your who have been on cruises you know that you can do as little as possible and still have a great time!

2. Unfortunately, there have been unexplained medical nightmare incidents involving passengers on cruise ships: I think you would be better off not going on this cruise.

3. I was pregnant while on our last cruise (not as far along as 26 weeks). But even still, at 26 weeks, you still have 12 weeks or so until baby is due. Should not be a problem.

4. I would go, its only a three day cruise. I would just make sure that I seen the doctor right before I went!

5. if ur seasick and have a weak stomach dont go for it...but if u will feel perfect and fine, just go and chillax with ur husband and ur future baby

6. You should be fine, just talk to your doctor. One thing to remember if there is any gastro going around onboard, you are at risk so be very careful.

7. i would go as long as i wasn't in the 8th month or more. you are just relaxing there. i would first have my doc maybe do a sono to make sure my cervical length is norm and the baby is norm and then if he gave clearance than i would go, besides it's only for 3dys and the rest will do you good. Once the baby comes you'll be glad you took a vacation.

8. For me I am scared of big bodies of water so I wouldn't go pregnant or not...LOL!!! I think you will be fine. I would just ask the doctor first thing when you do get pregnant and then have a checkup before you go. Best wishes!!!!!!!
